My inspiration for this sculpture was the Polynesian tiki god Lono. I liked that that Lono had a big belly and roses so I thought that it was something cool and challenging for me to sculpt.
I started my process by creating four sketches to plan out my sculpture from all sides. Next I used a slab make a base then I cut out the mouth then added the nose. Next I added my details to my sculpture and then lastly I added my final piece and finished

My inspiration for this piece is that love is hard to find now and wants love is found its strong and beautiful once you find it. Love is the most powerful thing to have in life and once you have love keep it for as long has you can.
The process I used is expressions. I choose expressions because it shows you how you feel. I used big, bold brushes in my painting to give it detail.
